I began working in the jewelry business in 1996 at Avenue Coins & Jewelry in Appleton Wisconsin. That started a wonderful education process of how to best manage people, advertise, inventory, train people and keep the lights on and bills paid. The partners also purchased Jim Kryshak Jewelers in Central Wisconsin and I moved to Wausau to manage that store.
The learning process has been incredible and we’ve taken the jewelry stores to more than triple their volume. This success has taken me all around the country and the world training people and speaking to audiences about how they can take their store to the next level and beyond.
While I’m not in the day-to-day of the jewelry business, I often still work in stores. It’s my passion now to train Jewelers via jewelrystoretraining.com and facilitate in any other way possible the growth of Jewelers who want to make their stores more successful.
This site is simply a collection of the cool things I find along the way that have worked amazingly for jewelers.
